ITBP Recruitment 2024: Apply for Constable Tradesman Positions

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has announced a recruitment drive for various Constable Tradesman roles, including 51 vacancies for tailors and cobblers. The application window will be open from July 20 to August 18, 2024. Notably, 10% of these positions are reserved for ex-servicemen.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their Class 10 education from a recognized board and possess an ITI certification in the relevant trade (cobbler or tailor). Alternatively, candidates with a two-year work experience or a two-year Diploma from an Industrial Training Institute are also eligible.
• Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 and 23 years old.

• General, OBC, and EWS Categories: ₹100
• Female, SC, ST, and ESM Categories: No fee

Selection Process

1. Physical Efficiency and Standard Test: Candidates will undergo various physical tasks, including running, long jump, and high jump.
2. Document Verification: Verification of educational certificates, age proof, caste certificates (if applicable), ITI certificates, etc.
3. Written Test: Assessment of general knowledge, mathematics, English, Hindi, and trade-related information.
4. Medical Examination: Ensuring candidates’ fitness for the duties.
