New Delhi, June 8, 2025 – In a transformative move reshaping the landscape of Indian higher education, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has empowered students nationwide to pursue two full-time academic degrees simultaneously.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a prominent educational board in India, overseeing examinations for Class X and Class XII students across numerous schools. Each year, after the announcement of board exam results, some students may feel their marks do not accurately reflect their performance.

The University Grants Commission (UGC), India’s apex body for coordinating and maintaining standards in higher education, has introduced the UGC (Minimum Standards of Instruction for the Grant of Undergraduate Degree and Postgraduate Degree) Regulations, 2025.
