CBSE Unveils Sample Papers for 2024-25 Academic Year

New Delhi, December 24, 2024 - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released an extensive set of sample question papers for both Class 10 and Class 12 for the upcoming 2024-25 academic session. A total of 50 sample papers (30 for 10th and 20 for 12th) have been made available, covering all major subjects for the board examinations scheduled to start in February 2025.

These newly released papers can be accessed on the CBSE Academic website, providing students with a vital tool to prepare for their exams. The sample papers are engineered to mimic the exam format, question typologies, and the marking scheme that students will face during the actual board exams. This year's papers include a mix of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), short answer questions, and long answer questions, tailored to the current syllabus and examination pattern.

The CBSE's initiative aims to ensure consistency and comprehensive curricula coverage, with an emphasis on applying concepts to real-life situations. Accompanying the sample papers, the Board has provided detailed marking schemes to guide students on how marks are allocated and what specific criteria are used for evaluation.

Students from Class 10 and 12 can download these PDFs from the CBSE Academic website, which features subject-specific papers for the Science, Commerce, and Arts streams. This release is pivotal for students gearing up for board exams, offering insights into question paper design, aiding in time management, and facilitating self-assessment.

Educators and educational platforms have highlighted the importance of these sample papers for exam preparation, advising students to practice under exam-like conditions to enhance their speed and accuracy in answering.

While these sample papers are a key resource, CBSE stresses they should be part of a broader study strategy, including a deep dive into the syllabus, consistent revision, and the use of additional study materials like NCERT solutions and previous years' question papers.

For those seeking to utilize these resources, the sample papers are available for download on the CBSE's official academic website. Here are the links:
