After Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung’s strict guidelines for Nursery Admission, the Delhi Education Directorate has decided to monitor the entire process of nursery admission this year.
In a bid to put curb on donations and other irregularities of private schools during the nursery admission, the Delhi Education department has issued a Helpline number: 27352525 for parents to lodge their complaints.
Parents can call on abovementioned number to lodge their complaints against the public schools.
On the directions of Education Minister, Education Directorate has also asked public schools to provide information through a blue-colured flex board infront of the school gates by January 10.
The flex board will have details of education officer with name, zone telephone numbers, mobile numbers and office address. Education officers of all zones have been asked to immediate action if they receive any complaint. In case of not satisfied with the action of concerned official, parents can also lodge their complaints directly to education minister with the helpline number.
Meanwhile, the nursery admission will start from January 15. The Nursery admission forms will be available from all the public schools from January 15 till January 31.
